October SWE Meeting!

For our October SWE Meeting, we got ready for the Conference, then made some Candy Bridges and had a contest for who’s bridge was the strongest- it was a lot of fun and a great success.

First SWE Meeting Recap

If you were unable to make the first SWE meeting, here is a recap of what we went over. We discussed the National Conference with Loyola’s SWE Councilor, who was our guest speaker at the meeting. We also discussed upcoming events for this year such as fundraisers and community service that we can participant in. For more details on the National Conference please e-mail Megan Gansfuss at mmgansfuss@loyola.edu.

Flower Sale was a great success!

SWE Flower SaleThank you to everyone who helped out at the flower sale! We sold out an hour before closing, and it was a great success. Our profit will be very helpful towards enriching our meetings as well as hoping cutting the cost of the SWE Conference next fall! Thank you very much to everyone who helped prepare the flowers, sold the flowers, and most of all those who bought flowers and supported us. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Thanks to all who attended our cookie swap / meeting this past Wednesday. I know I enjoyed tasting all the cookies and it seemed like everybody else did too! As the executive board, we wanted to thank you all for a wonderful semester and all your contributions into getting SWE up and running at Loyola. Good luck with finals and have a wonderful break to everyone. We hope to see you all next semester!
